DE.LE.S. was established in Saronno (VA), with the aim of supplying the local manufacturing industry with corrugated cardboard boxes.
1990 marks the transfer of ownership from the expert guidance of Giuseppe Desio to the enthusiastic and determined guidance of Edoardo Zaffaroni and his son Matteo. The market clearly appreciates the product and service of DE.LE.S. which, in a few years, becomes an established brand throughout northern Italy in the production of cardboard packaging for the Lombardy market.In 1997, the property decides to expand its scope of action to the sector of protective expanded polyethylene packaging: DELES Imballaggi Speciali was born.
It is the year of change: with new resources and new objectives, the DELES group presents itself on the market as a unique partner, able to meet all the needs of companies in the packaging sector, creating the seed of what it will become a few years later - the ONE SOURCE model.
The group expands by founding two new divisions: DELES Lab, the ISTA certified pack engineering laboratory and DELES Matic, the branch specializing in solutions for product traceability and end-of-line automation.
A new business line is added dedicated to the supply of integrated logistics outsourcing services and Supply Chain Management.
DELES consolidates its presence in central-northern Italy with the opening of the commercial office in Turin and the new factory in Cesena, specialized in logistics, the production of packaging and special processing for the ICT sector.
To meet the needs of customers in the regions of Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria, DELES Valdarno was born, the project of a new production facility equipped with distribution warehouses with headquarters in the province of Arezzo. In the same year, the first DELES showroom was inaugurated in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI).
Driven by the successes in the national field and by the establishment of the new production line at the plant in Terranuova Bracciolini (AR), the group faces the international market through some strategic partnerships in Germany. The presence at European level is consolidated with the opening of a branch in Poland.
DELES Academy is born, a high-level training centre dedicated to the world of packaging and logistics, aimed at professionals, companies, graduates or graduates interested in deepening their skills or acquiring new ones.
